Ralph M. Frid was born in 1950 in Southern California, where he spent his childhood and youth. As a young engineer he worked for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, before returning to California to work in aerospace for Hughes Aircraft Company where he won the company’s coveted Inventor Award. In 1995, he left to join Hewlett-Packard and became the company’s first principal consultant in the United States. He later joined Boeing to launch new technology on board commercial aircraft and is currently working at Cox Communications on advanced video technologies.

Numerous customers in aerospace, telecommunication, and service provider industries have sought his advice on the use of technology to capture emerging markets and influence the culture of business. He has helped customers use technology to create a competitive advantage, secure new market opportunities and enhance business operations. He has also spoken internationally on the subject of product development and the use of disruptive technologies.

Ralph holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Masters in Management from the University of Redlands, and also holds a Masters and Doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.

He currently lives in Placentia, Orange County, California, with Rosemary, his wife of over thirty-five years, with whom he has raised five children.
